Fake News: सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो तेज़ी से वायरल हो रहा है । वायरल वीडियो के साथ दावा किया जा रहा है कि एक युवक के जन्मदिन पर उसके दोस्तों ने उसे बर्थडे बम्प्स दिया जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई । आपको बता दे की ये दावा गलत है और वो लड़का बिलकुल ठीक है |

वायरल वीडियो को पूर्व क्रिकेटर वीरेंद्र सहवाग ने भी ट्वीट किया था, जिसे बाद में उन्होंने डिलीट कर दिया |

वीडियो के साथ एक कैप्शन में लिखा है, “ISM के इस विद्यार्थी की मृत्यु हो गयी है क्योंके इसके जन्मदिन पर इसके दोस्तों ने इसे कुछ इस तरह बर्थडे बम्प्स दिए के अगले दिन इसके पेट मे दर्द हुआ।पेनक्रियाज क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए। ऑपरेशन हुआ लेकिन जान नही बच सकी। कृपया हर एक जो इस पोस्ट को देखे कृपया कभी ऐसे बम्पस अपने मित्र को न दे जिसकी वजह से वो आपसे हमेशा के लिए आपसे दूर चला जाए इर आप उसे जीवन भर याद कर पछताते रहे। बच्चों के मात पिता जो इस पोस्ट को देखे वह अपने परिवारों को इसके लिए अलर्ट करे। यह घटना मजाक मजाक में आपके परिवार के साथ भी घटित हो सकती है। शेयर करे ।

वीडियो में एक लड़के को फ़र्श पर पड़े हुए दिखाया गया है, जिसे लड़कों का एक समूह निर्ममतापूर्वक मार रहा है। पास के टेबल पर दो केक देखे जा सकते हैं। वीडियो के अंत में, युवकों का ये समूह लड़के को उठाता है और उसे मेज़ की ओर लाता है। हालांकि वीडियो में उसे केक काटते हुए नहीं दिखाया गया है, कैप्शन में लिखा है कि यह उसका जन्मदिन था। पोस्ट में दावा किया गया है कि पिटाई के कारण लड़के की मृत्यु हो गई।

2017 के एक फ़ेसबुक पोस्ट से प्रेरित अख़बार की एक नकली क्लिपिंग इस दावे के साथ वायरल की जा रही है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के भाई-बहन उन्हें अपने पिता की मौत का ज़िम्मेदार मानते हैं ।

Fake News Hindi: 2017 के एक फ़ेसबुक पोस्ट से प्रेरित अख़बार की एक नकली क्लिपिंग इस दावे के साथ वायरल की जा रही है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के भाई-बहन उन्हें अपने पिता की मौत का ज़िम्मेदार मानते हैं ।

बूम ने मोदी के छोटे भाई प्रहलाद मोदी से बात की, जिन्होंने इन सभी दावों का खंडन किया और कहा कि परिवार में किसी ने भी प्रधानमंत्री के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज नहीं की थी, जैसा कि क्लिपिंग में दावा किया किया गया है ।

क्रॉप किए गए के क्लिपिंग में ना तो प्रकाशन का नाम है ना ही रिपोर्टर को बाइलाइन दी गयी है । इसमें दावा किया गया है कि मोदी घर से ज़ेवर चुराकर भाग गए थे । क्लिपिंग में यह भी कहा गया कि उनके कार्यों से आहत मोदी के पिता को दिल का दौरा पड़ा और इलाज के लिए संसाधनों की कमी के कारण उनका निधन हो गया ।

Breathing in India is injurious to health than smoking

Globally, people are losing 1.8 life years due to particulate pollution. This is almost equal to the life years lost due to cigarette smoking. Particulate Pollution is caused by the excess of concentration of PM 2.5 in the air. Breathing PM 2.5 regularly can cause severe lung and heart diseases.

Databaaz: The World Health Organisation (WHO) sets 10 μg/m3 as the safe limit of PM2.5 concentration in the air. India’s current PM 2.5 concentration is 5 times the limit set by WHO. This means, on an average Indians are losing 4.3 years of their life expectancy to particulate pollution.

Among the top 20 polluted cities in the world, 16 are in India. The environment health of the country is the worst in the world.

Still, the problem of pollution still does not top the priorities of political parties in this election season.

Did Indira Gandhi Make Two MPs Resign For Advani And Vajpayee?

Fact Check News India: A Facebook post claiming Indira Gandhi had forced two of her MPs (Member of Parliament) to resign to make way for Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not win a single seat in the Lok Sabha elections, is false.

The caption accompanying the viral post reads, “When BJP got ‘0’ seat in the Lok Sabha, Indira ji asked her 2 MPs to resign and gave a seat to Atal ji and one seat to Advaniji.”

Translated from Hindi “जब बीजेपी को लोकसभा में ‘0’ सीट आई थी तब इंदिरा जी ने अपने 2 MP से त्यागपत्र लेकर 1 सीट पर अटल जी तथा 1 सीट पर आडवाणी जी को दी थी.”

Did Birthday Bumps Claim A Boy’s Life? No, The ‘Victim’ Is Alive And Kicking

A video showing a group of youngsters thrashing a youth in the name of birthday bumps has gone viral with a claim that the blows claimed the youth’s life.

Fact Check India: The claim that a youth died after his friends rained blows and kicks on him in the name of ‘birthday bumps’, is fake.

The viral video has been tweeted by the likes of former cricketer Virender Sehwag, who later deleted his tweet.

A caption along with the video reads, “A student of IMM died last 2 months ago Reason was, on his B-Day, b’day bumps were given by friends.. Next day he had stomach ache, pancreas was damaged, operated Finally died Pls ask children, not to give B-Day bumps.”

The video is also viral on Facebook and Whatsapp.

The videos shows a group of boy mercilessly hitting a youth lying on the floor. Two cakes can be seen on a nearby table. Towards the ends of the video, the group picks up the boy and bring him towards the table. Although the video does not show him cutting a cake, the caption insinuates that it was his birthday. The post claims that the boy died the next day as his pancreas was damaged because of the beating.

No, Anna Hazare Did Not Make Fun Of Arvind Kejriwal Being Slapped

Viral post claims Anna Hazare asked if Kejriwal was slapped only once. In the video, Anna was referring to an incident where Sharad Pawar was slapped in 2011.

Fact Check News: An eight-year-old video of Anna Hazare has been revived and shared in the backdrop of the recent incident in which Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was slapped during a road show. The caption with the video, however, makes a false claim.

In the video, Anna can be heard saying, “He was slapped? Only one slap?”

The caption along with the viral video reads, “Look at Anna’s reaction after the Kejriwal-slapping incident.”

Fact Check

Taking cue from the video which has a logo of India TV, BOOM searched the archives of the channel and found that the same video was uploaded to YouTube on November 24, 2011.

However, the incident Anna is referring to in the video is not related with Arvind Kejriwal but Sharad Pawar.

Nationalist Congress Party’s Sharad Pawar was slapped by a youth on November 24, 2011.

The youth had been identified as Harvinder Singh, a transporter from Delhi who was earlier involved in an assault on telecom minister Sukhram.

Fake Newspaper Clipping Claims PM Modi’s Siblings Blame Him For Father’s Death

BOOM spoke to Narendra Modi’s younger brother, Prahlad Modi, who claimed that neither him, nor any of his siblings have ever filed an FIR against the current PM.

Fact Check: A fake newspaper clipping, inspired from a Facebook post from 2017, has gone viral with the claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s siblings hold him responsible for their father’s death.

BOOM spoke to Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi, who refuted the claims and said that no one in the family had filed an FIR against the prime minister, as the clipping suggested.

The cropped newspaper clipping, that neither provides the name of the publication, nor a byline, claims that Modi ran away from home after stealing family jewellery.

It also stated that as a consequence of his actions, Modi’s father suffered a heart attack and eventually passed away due to lack of resources for the treatment.

The article also carried a popular photo of young Narendra Modi in a National Cadet Corps uniform.
