While defending his move to slash US investments overseas, US President Donald Trump on January 2, 2019, mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for funding a library in Afghanistan. The government countered this by pointing out that India’s investments in Afghanistan were on a much more massive scale than Trump believed.

Over the last four years, 2014-15 to 2017-18, India has given Rs 2,217 crore ($344 million) as development assistance to Afghanistan, a government reply to the Rajya Sabha (parliament’s upper house) said on August 9, 2018. The government further informed the house that since 2014, seven projects had been completed and 12 are ongoing.

These Women Are Kurdish Peshmerga Fighters, Not The Indian Army

The women in the photograph appear to be wearing a uniform similar to that worn by Kurdish Peshmerga female fighters.

Boomlive News: An old photo of two women dressed in military uniform is being shared on Facebook with text in Bengali that claims they are female soldiers of the Indian Army at the Indo-Pak border. However, the women in the photograph appear to be wearing a uniform similar to that worn by Kurdish Peshmerga female fighters.

The Indian Army does not allow women in combat roles. In November 2018, Army Chief  General Bipin Rawat said the Indian Army was not yet ready to have women in combat roles.

BOOM ran a Google reverse image search on the photo and found a ‘best guess’ for the image was ‘kurdistan army girl’. We were also able to find social media posts going back to 2014 indicating that the photo is at least 4 years old.

Peshmerga, which translates to ‘those who face death’ are Kurdish fighters in northern Iraq. Their origins can be traced to the Kurdish nationalist movement in the first half of the 20th century after the collapse of the Ottoman and Qajar empires.

सच्चाई: वायरल होते राजस्थान के इस वीडियो में आप एक महिला को रोते और शोक मनाते देख सकते है। वीडियो के कैप्शन के अनुसार इस महिला का बलात्कार हुआ है और आरोपी एक मुस्लिम है जिस पर पुलिस ने कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की है। हम आपको बतादे की यह पोस्ट झूठा है। यह वीडियो 6 महीने पुराना है।

दरअसल, वायरल वीडियो में दिख रही महिला इंडियन आर्मी के हवलदार हंसराज गुर्जर की पत्नी मंजू देवी है। जम्मू कश्मीर के सांबा सेक्टर में कुछ दिनों पहले भारतीय और पाकिस्तान सेनाओं के बीच हुई फायरिंग में हवलदार हंसराज गुर्जर शहीद हो गए थे।

शहीद के पार्थिव शरीर को अंतिम दर्शन के लिए राजस्थान के मुगलपुर गाँव लाया गया था। दर्शन के लिए लोगो का हुजूम उमड़ पड़ा था और भारी भीड़ जमा हो गई थी । इस दौरान मंजू देवी की तबियत बिगड़ गयी थी । शहीद पति की मौत पर मातम कर रही पत्नी के वीडियो को सोशल मीडिया पर गलत कैप्शन के साथ वायरल किया जा रहा है।

यह वीडियो दरअसल इंडोनेशिया का है । वीडियो में आप सैनिको को एक व्यक्ति की निर्ममता से पिटाई करते हुए देख सकते है। हकीकत में यह व्यक्ति एक चोर है जिसकी इंडोनेशियाई सैन्य कर्मियों ने चोरी के जुर्म में जमकर पिटाई कर दी थी। सोशल मीडिया पर वीडियो के वायरल होने के बाद अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई है ।

आपको बता दें की यह पहली बार नहीं है जब यह तस्वीर वायरल हुई है | इसके पहले भी इसे गलत सन्दर्भ में सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट किया जा चूका है |

वर्ष 2014 में, जब की यह तस्वीर है, इसे एक अलग सन्देश के साथ वायरल किया गया था: जी हाँ, बड़ी मालकिन मिसेज अडानी, 56 inch kaa seena..? ha ha ha| बगैर कोई नाम लिए यहां पर इशारा उद्योगपति गौतम अडानी की ओर था |

बूम ने जब रिवर्स इमेज सर्च की मदद से असल तस्वीर ढूंढने की कोशिश की तो हमें मालूम चला की असल तस्वीर तो यही थी, बस इसे गलत कैप्शन के साथ वायरल किया गया था | ये तस्वीर वर्ष 2014 में तब खींची गयी थी जब प्रधानमंत्री मोदी एक फ़ूड पार्क के उद्घाटन समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए कर्णाटक के तुमकुर गए थे | असल तस्वीर को तब ट्वीट भी किया गया था |
